About Empire State Lyric TheaterHistoryIn 2006, a group of music and business professionals with the common interest of bringing to Rochester extraordinary musical evenings, came together to form The Empire State Lyric Theatre. Their talents blend into a harmony that results in producing professional quality musical events, whether they are fully staged operas, operas in concert or musical theater.
Philosophy/missionEmpire State Lyric Theatre founders and directors believe that music should be enjoyed by everyone. It is our goal to offer musical events that provide world-class performances in a festive, social atmosphere.
